Maa Hariyali Devi Temple, surrounded by Himalayan peaks and thick green forests is perched at an elevated height of approximately 1,400 m. According to Hindu mythology, there are 58 peeths in total and Hariyali Devi is one of those peeths. The goddess here is known by various other names like Sitla Mata, Bala Devi and Vaishno Devi. The idol in this temple sits on the back of a lion dressed in yellow and regally beaded with ornaments. The temple here houses basically three idols- Ma Hariyali Devi, Kshatrapal and Heet Devi.
